Booking Through Thursday: Skipping

January 20, 2012

Do you skip ahead in a book? Do you feel badly about it when you do?

I have skipped some pages in some of the books I read, due to several reasons but mostly because of its lousy plot and never-ending boring descriptions. And no, I never feel bad about it when I have to do it. If I feel that the book isn't worthy of my time, I wouldn't hesitate to not finish it either. The bottom line is, if an author doesn't care about writing a great story for his/her potential readers, I wouldn't be bothered to read his/her books too. The rule is simple.

Question based on this article, that asked, "Are you ashamed about skipping parts of books?". Booking Through Thursday is hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

BabyLone the geek Reads
Hi! Welcome to BabyLone the Geek Reads. This is the very place where I often hang-out and blog about all the books I have read. You will also find author posts, interviews and giveaways here. And here's the latest scoop about my blog - I have officially adopted a new blog name, BabyLone the Geek Reads. My blog is formerly known as The Bornean Bookworm and Bornean Bookworm Reads. I still retain the same blog URL, but will change to a new one as soon as I have completed all book tours I have signed up for.

In the meantime, enjoy yourself while being here and thanks for stopping by! Greetings from Sarawak, Borneo!
